What are the DMORT status levels and what do they mean?

National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (DMORT) This is a Federal Level Response team designed to provide mortuary assistance in the case of a mass fatality incident or cemetery related incident. We work under the local jurisdictional authorities such as Coroner/Medical Examiners, Law Enforcement and Emergency Managers. Spring 2008 National News (posted 4/24/08) DMART Is OPEN.
